Chris Christie
Chris Christie announced June 6, 2023 that he is running for the Republican nomination for president and dropped out shortly before the Iowa caucus in January 2024. Christie was the governor of New Jersey and a candidate for the Republican nomination for president in 2016. As governor, Christie won office in 2010 and was re-elected in 2014. Prior to that, he was U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 2002 to 2008.
