Nikki Haley announced on Feb. 14, 2023 that she was running for president in the Republican primary and dropped out after Super Tuesday in March 2024. Haley was the governor of South Carolina 2011-2017 and then served as President Donald Trump's ambassador to the UN in 2017 and 2018.
