George Santos

George Santos was elected to the House of Representatives in 2022, representing a district in Queens and Long Island, N.Y. After his election, media reports found widespread discrepancies and falsehoods in his personal and professional background and he was indicted on criminal charges in 2023. He was expelled from the House on Dec. 1, 2023.
