Christine O’Donnell is a Delaware politician who gained notoriety in the aftermath of her upset of Rep. Mike Castle in the 2010 Republican U.S. Senate primary. She went on to lose in the general election to Democrat Chris Coons. O’Donnell had previously waged losing U.S. Senate campaigns in 2006 and 2008.
