Barbara Lee

First elected to congress in 1998, Rep. Lee sits on the House Appropriations and Budget committees. She is the senior Democratic whip, whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, chair of the Social Work Caucus, and co-chair of the congressional HIV/AIDS, Out-of-Poverty, Health Care, and other caucuses.
