Help us determine the Lie of The Year

By April Hunt
December 4, 2014

Georgian heard just a few whoppers from our political leaders and pundits this year.

Only two tushes were scorched in Peach State claims in 2014. Our Pants on Fire rulings went to one claim that Democratic U.S. Senate candidate worked for an organization that funded terrorists and another claim saying that Republican Gov. Nathan Deal had the worst education record in state history.

Neither of those broke into the Top 10 of falsehoods uttered across the nation in 2014.

You can see that list and vote for the Readers’ Choice award here. And stay tuned for our announcement of our Lie of the Year soon.
