A new ad from VoteVets.org views the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico as another reason for the U.S. to pursue energy independence.

“Thing is, a clean American energy plan would cut our dependence on oil in half. It’s more power for America, made here in America,” says Evan Wolf, a Louisiana National Guardsman, who appears in the ad.
