Rating Scott Walker promises on transportation

By Tom Kertscher

So, today wraps up a big travel weekend.

Did you hit any tolls (you shouldn’t have; not in Wisconsin, at least).

On this Memorial Day weekend, taking a spin on our Walk-O-Meter, we’re rating three campaign promises Gov. Scott Walker made on transportation.

During his 2014 re-election campaign, Walker pledged not to pursue toll roads, to protect the state Transportation Fund and to repay money that had been “raided” from that fund.

More than halfway into his second term, let’s see how Walker has done.
