Monique Curet is the managing editor of PolitiFact. She previously served as a deputy editor. Monique supervises daily news coverage, including politician fact-checks, stories about federal and state policy, analysis and enterprise. She also has extensive experience debunking hoaxes. Monique teaches fact-checking techniques to journalists and students and has managed business-to-business research and fact-checking projects. She has worked as a reporter covering business, agribusiness, medicine and law enforcement at The Columbus Dispatch and the Press-Register. She also worked as a legislative aide for the City of Chicago.
