Football fans are anticipating the rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl LIX after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles two years ago in Super Bowl LVII.

Among the expected celebrities in attendance is pop superstar Taylor Swift, who is in a romantic relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. But on social media, some are claiming that the singer will not be allowed to attend.

“BREAKING NEWS: Taylor Swift officially banned from Super Bowl 2025: ‘Too much distracting and woke,’” a Feb. 4 Facebook post’s caption read.

There’s no proof that Swift has been banned from attending this year’s Super Bowl. PolitiFact found no news reports or statements from the NFL that support that claim.

Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce’s brother, told People in a Feb. 4 interview that Swift will be in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome, the game’s host stadium. Swift has attended numerous Chiefs games in the past year and a half, when news broke about her romance with Kelce.

The Facebook user linked to an article in the comments about the purported Swift Super Bowl ban; the story lacks a byline, cites anonymous sources and provides no evidence for the claim.

Fact-checkers have debunked similar claims in the past.

PolitiFact contacted the NFL for comment but did not hear back.

Swift has not been banned from Super Bowl LIX. We rate that claim False.
