A TikTok video spreading on other social media platforms appears to claim that President-elect Donald Trump is ending a “trans species child tax credit.”

“Parents of trans-species kids no longer getting money every month bc Tronald Dump,” text over the video says.

“What are we doing about Donald Trump getting rid of the trans-species child tax credit?” the person in the video says.

Later, that person says that “for the past four years, since Biden got into office, I’ve been getting $12,000 a year because my son identifies as a cat.”

Someone responding to that clip then says: “I’m sorry—what?”
