Fake Fox News chyron says Kamala Harris could be the oldest female president

If Vice President Kamala Harris is elected president, she would be the oldest elected female president in the United States because she’d be the country’s only elected female president.

But Fox News didn’t air a chyron saying as much.

An image spreading on social media makes it appear otherwise.

“Kamala could be the oldest elected female president,” the chyron says in an image of a “Fox & Friends” segment.

But this image was altered. It comes from “Fox & Friends” footage from 2018.

A video of that segment shows the chyron said. “Davis admits being Trump Tower story source.”

Fox News published a story on its site the previous day reporting that Lanny Davis — a lawyer for Michael Cohen, a onetime attorney for former President Donald Trump — was a source for a CNN story.

A Fox News spokesperson told PolitiFact the chyron didn’t air on its channel.

Fox News has published many stories that touch on President Joe Biden’s age, but this isn’t a real chyron.
