If your time is short

  • This video was altered. In the original, it’s clear Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was discussing President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, not President-elect Donald Trump.

In a video circulating social media, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro appears to criticize President-elect Donald Trump.

“A classic example of someone who’s above the law because he was never even sentenced,” Pirro says as images of Trump appear next to her in a split screen. “Most of the the parties that we hear about are parties where someone has served their time, they paid their debt to society and they’re going to end up getting it removed — it’s an impediment going forward. Not this case; we won’t even know what his sentence would’ve been. And then for him to call out the media and selective prosecution is absurd. A jury found him guilty. Are you saying you don’t believe in a jury system anymore, Mr. President?”

A Dec. 2 Threads post sharing the video said, “Damn Judge Jeanine went hard as hell on Trump.”

This video was altered. The original shows Pirro discussing President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who was facing federal charges over guns and taxes but whom the president pardoned Dec. 1.

In the original video, a Dec. 2 episode of Fox News show “The Five,” images of the Bidens — not Trump — appeared in the split screen with Pirro.

We rate claims that Pirro’s comments were about Trump False.
