By W. Gardner Selby
August 29, 2014

Labor Day traditionally marks the beginning of the fall campaign season.

But in the Texas governor’s race, we’ve been checking claims by Democrat Wendy Davis and Republican Greg Abbott for months. You may know already we’ve looked into socialists and FBI investigations as well as Abbott’s court record and his preschool ideas.

See Abbott’s full PolitiFact report card here. The Davis report card is here.

Or for now, enjoy the stack of samples to the right. What else do you hear?

Happy Labor Day.
