By W. Gardner Selby
November 30, 2012

PolitiFact is picking its 2012 Lie of the Year–and wants your help.

As its research team has done for the past three years, it will be selecting the year’s most significant falsehood. Editor Bill Adair and others have begun putting together a list of contenders and would love to hear your suggestions before the team unveils its finalists.

You can email your suggestions to truthometer@politifact.com or tweet them to @PolitiFact.

Do not delay. Finalists will be announced soon.
