Cruz, Sadler, the Truth-O-Meter

By W. Gardner Selby
August 1, 2012

Ted Cruz and Paul Sadler, primary runoff victors in Texas, may merit breathers.

Yet Cruz, the Republican U.S. Senate nominee, and Sadler, his Democratic counterpart, stand to be stumping against one another any day soon as the November general election approaches.

The winner on Nov. 6, 2012, will earn a six-year term, succeeding Republican Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, who did not seek re-election.

Both of them already have experience with the Truth-O-Meter. See Cruz’s PolitiFact report card here and the one for Sadler here.

This is your fresh chance to tell us of claims by either hopeful that we should take up soon.

Just 14 weeks until the fall election.
