Whither Ron Paul? Check his report card

The New York Times caught our attention with a March 27, 2012, news story opening: “Whatever happened to Ron Paul?”

The Republican U.S. House member from Texas, seeking his party’s presidential nomination, speaks for himself in the story on his chances of landing in the White House.

Our ahem: PolitiFact’s report card on Paul-related fact checks is alive and well. We’ve also posted our own latest checks of Paul to the right.

Over the years, Paul has had more than 30 claims rated, with more than 20 coming out Half True or better. Put another way, his checked claims have skewed toward True, a PolitiFact writer noted in December 2011.
