Perry-O-Meter: Guv kept education funds promise

It was a long haul, but with $830 million in federal education aid poised to flow into the state, we’re rating Gov. Rick Perry’s promise to secure the money as Kept.

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan put the Truth-O-Meter in motion after issuing a press release Friday announcing that Texas would be getting the education funds.
