Now on YouTube: Our Guide to Fact-Checking

PolitiFact is proud to be partnering with YouTube for today’s launch of the Reporters’ Center, a special YouTube channel that features how-to videos from some the nation’s top journalists and news organizations.

PolitiFact’s Guide to Fact-Checking

is a four-minute video that features tips and techniques on Internet research, the pros and cons of Wikipedia and our principles for checking facts.

The 30-plus videos in the Reporters’ Center cover a wide range of topics, from preparing for interviews to journalistic ethics. They feature Katie Couric on interviewing techniques, Bob Woodward on investigative reporting and Scott Simon on storytelling.

PolitiFact’s Guide to Fact-Checking was recorded in the PolitiFact offices in Washington, D.C. and was produced by Molly Adair, a senior at Yorktown High School in Arlington, Va.
