PolitiFact will have 18 fact-checkers working tonight’s vice presidential debate between Tim Kaine and Mike Pence.

We’ll start updating the Twitter feed below starting at 9 p.m. EST, and we’ll post Truth-O-Meter rulings in near real-time.

How do we do that? We rely on our database of nearly 13,000 fact-checks and more than 400 of the 2016 presidential candidates and their vice presidential nominees.
