Greg Abbott gets a promise meter

By W. Gardner Selby
January 20, 2015

Greg Abbott, sworn in as governor of Texas, didn’t list his campaign promises in his inaugural address.

But we compiled nearly 100 of Abbott’s promises for the Abbott-O-Meter. It’s landing on our website alongside the just-debuted Adler-O-Meter (tracking action on campaign promises by Austin Mayor Steve Adler).

Abbott, who won a four-year term in November, has time to make progress. For starters, each promise is “Yet to be Rated.”

Did we miss any Abbott promises?
