“Capital Tonight” features PolitiFact Texas weekly

By W. Gardner Selby
September 24, 2014

“Capital Tonight,” the Time Warner Cable news program hosted by Paul Brown that focuses on what’s happening under the dome in Austin, invites us over most Fridays to talk about a fact check or two.

We’re newly happy to share video segments, starting with the one with this story. On the Sept. 19 show, Brown inquired into our check of a claim by Democrat Wendy Davis that Republican Greg Abbott failed to act on alleged sexual misdeeds at a West Texas school. We rated her statement Mostly False.

It’s always a pleasure to share our research.
