No proof Wendy Davis raised money for a socialist or socialist group
Wendy Davis just spoke at an annual campaign fundraiser for a liberal Democratic U.S. House member from Chicago.
But similar claims lofted separately by Greg Abbott and David Dewhurst that the House member, Jan Schakowsky, is also a member of a socialist group or was raising money for a socialist group didn’t hold up.
