And the PunditFact Madness winner is …

By Aaron Sharockman
April 8, 2014

Donna Brazile, the ABC News commentator, CNN political analysts and former campaign manager to Al Gore, can add another title to her resume — America’s favorite Sunday show pundit.

Brazile is the champion in our first-ever PunditFact Madness bracket, having defeated Cokie Roberts of NPR and ABC News.

The final results: Brazile 61 percent, Roberts 39 percent.

Brazile breezed through much of the competition, which pitted 16 Sunday show pundits against each other in a bracket-style challenge. Readers voted for their favorite in four different rounds.

Brazile received more than 70 percent of the vote in her first round match-up with Fox News’ Juan Williams, exactly 60 percent of the vote in her second round contest with NBC News’ Robert Gibbs and beat Bob Woodward of the Washington Post 71 percent to 29 percent.

Thanks so much. Great honor and I look forward to next year. And the PunditFact Madness winner is … | PunditFact http://t.co/3Xk2tmjl5K
