PunditFact’s March Madness

We might be going out on a limb here, but if you read PolitiFact, you probably watch political pundits on TV. And if you watch the pundits, there are probably pundits you like and pundits who deeply annoy you.

Now, thanks to PunditFact, you can vote for your favorite pundits in a fun (and gimmicky!) Sweet 16-style bracket match-up.

PunditFact selected 16 pundits to square off, culminating on the day of the NCAA national championship game. PunditFact created the list based largely on how often pundits appeared on the Sunday news shows in 2014 — the pinnacle of punditry.

“We then arbitrarily created a bracket (just like the NCAA, who apparently thinks Louisville and Michigan State are No. 4 seeds?!?!),” wrote PunditFact editor Aaron Sharockman.

PunditFact wants you to pick your favorite pundit in each matchup. How you determine that, they say, is up to you. Do they make you laugh? Do you agree with them most? Would you want them over for dinner?

The first round of voting is available here. Voting ends at 10 a.m. March 26.

• Rich Lowry (National Review) vs. Ana Navarro (CNN);
• Michael Gerson (Washington Post) vs. Bill Kristol (ABC/Weekly Standard);
• Cokie Roberts (NPR/ABC) vs. Matthew Dowd (ABC);
• Julie Pace (Associated Press) vs. Peggy Noonan (Wall Street Journal);
• Bob Woodward (Washington Post) vs. Kim Strassel (Wall Street Journal);
• Donna Brazile (CNN) vs. Juan Williams (Fox News);
• Brit Hume (Fox News) vs. Robert Gibbs (NBC).
