Our colleagues at PolitiFact in Washington, D.C., recently confirmed that President Barack Obama is the most fact-checked person on the Truth-O-Meter.

Along the way, they determined that Texas Gov. Rick Perry leads in a dubious category.

In total fact checks, Perry’s claims placed him fifth among the top 10 most fact-checked people on the Truth-O-Meter, as of Jan. 22, 2014, just ahead of Govs. Rick Scott, Chris Christie and Scott Walker.

But of the elected officials on the top 10 list, Perry had the highest percentage of Pants on Fire ratings, with 10 percent of his statements getting the flame.

Read the full rundown here. Click to Perry’s Truth-O-Meter report card here (and the bulk of his Pants on Fire claims are piled to the right).
