In debate, Ted Cruz pipes up on Iran deal, cutting off Planned Parenthood aid

For a spell, Ted Cruz looked to be a bit left out of the 11-candidate Republican presidential debate.

 

Then the Texan remaining in the field got back-to-back opportunities to criticize the Iran agreement and federal aid to Planned Parenthood. Later, he called the elevation of John Roberts to the U.S. Supreme Court "a mistake" before acknowledging he supported the Roberts' nomination at the time.

 

Cruz also said he'd place Rosa Parks on a revamped $20 bill.
