Previously, he covered the Nevada Legislature for the Associated Press and has interned for the Los Angeles Times, Las Vegas Sun and Reno Gazette-Journal. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where he majored in journalism. He works out of the KTNV studios in Las Vegas.
