Nancy Madsen joined PolitiFact Virginia in January 2012. Before that, she spent four years as a reporter at the Watertown Daily Times in New York where she covered local government and business. Madsen grew up in many places, but mainly Mississippi and Texas. She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois and earned an M.A. in journalism from Syracuse University.
