Katelyn Brown is a senior at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is studying convergence journalism with an emphasis in emerging media and obtaining a dual degree in political science. This fall, she is fact checking for PolitiFact Missouri and working on a capstone research project for Science Friday. In the past she has been part of the Community Outreach Team at the Columbia Missourian, working specifically with the state government reporting team. Katelyn has also done freelance work for Inside Columbia Magazine.
