Dave Umhoefer is a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Watchdog Team. He won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting for his investigation into pension padding by Milwaukee County officials. Umhoefer has covered governmental affairs in Milwaukee for 25 years as a reporter and editor. He is a La Crosse native and University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate.
