Dan Clark is the PolitiFact New York reporter based out of Albany, N.Y., in partnership with the Buffalo News. Dan has covered New York state government from the capitol building in Albany since 2014. He joined the PolitiFact team in 2016 after two years as a producer for Capital Tonight, upstate New York's only daily political television show. Dan is a native upstate New Yorker, spending most of his life in the Binghamton area before moving to Albany in 2010. Dan is a graduate of the University at Albany, where he studied Journalism and Documentary Studies.
