Tricia Cotham represents Mecklenburg County in the North Carolina House of Representatives. Elected as a Democrat in 2022, Cotham switched parties and registered as a Republican in April 2023 — giving the GOP a supermajority in the state legislature. She previously served in the state House from 2008 to 2016.
