Keith Ellison was sworn in as Minnesota’s attorney general on Jan. 7, 2019. Ellison was previously a Democratic congressman from Minnesota, representing a district that includes all of Minneapolis and portions of two neighboring counties. In 2017, Ellison became the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee.
