John Roberts

John G. Roberts Jr. was appointed Chief Justice of the United States by President George W. Bush in 2005. Previously, he held several positions in the Reagan administration, practiced law in Washington, D.C., and served on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
