Civil Rights icon John Lewis represents Georgia's 5th Congressional District. He was the recipient of the presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, in February 2011. 

Lewis is the oldest surviving keynote speaker of the 1963 March on Washington.
