Before pleading his case for voters to sign off on an inner-city rail line, Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell said the city’s population has doubled every 25 years or so since its founding.

That claim checked out–leading Austin’s Fox7 News, KTBC-TV, to fashion the image below and to the right, underneath some of our past fact checks of Leffingwell, who is in his last year as mayor.
